Ian Mack

Ian is a Burlington, Vermont-based guitarist and music educator with over 15 years of playing, recording, and live performance experience. Since completing his studies in the Music Department the University of Vermont in 2016, he has been performing and recording music in the Burlington area with artists in a wide range of genres. Between pop-singer Francesca Blanchard, honky-tonk country band Wild Leek River, and jazz artists including trombonist Nate Reit and many others, Ian has developed a diverse range of guitar techniques to fit just about any musical situation.

In private lessons, Ian creates personalized plans for each student to ensure that everyone gets the most out of their time here at Mack Music. He works with all ages and experience levels, prioritizing the quality of learning over the quantity of hours spent practicing.
